AI as the Konnection Engine

Discover. Capture. Match. Transfer. Measure.

A simple path for putting overlooked knowledge and resources back into productive circulation. People bring the experience, knowledge and ideas. AI simply helps them explore new connections and possibilities for real workforce and community needs.

Many hands pass books, tools, laptops and ideas along a conveyor, turning knowledge into new opportunities.
Step by step

Follow one person’s knowledge through the engine.

Scroll through the five steps to see how a retiring facilities manager’s experience goes back into circulation.

Step 1 of 5

Discover

We identify underused skills, knowledge, facilities, equipment and opportunities across the community, through local discovery sessions and conversations with employers and organizations.

In practice

A local employer tells us its facilities manager retires next year, and nobody else knows how the building really runs.

Step 2 of 5

Capture

Experience is converted into knowledge other people can use: lessons, checklists, simulations and training material.

In practice

Her 35 years of know-how are recorded and shaped into short lessons, checklists and walk-through simulations.

Step 3 of 5

Match

AI-assisted mapping connects what people and organizations need with the people and resources that already exist nearby.

In practice

The mapping finds a community college program and two small nonprofits that need exactly that knowledge.

Step 4 of 5

Transfer

Knowledge moves across generations, industries and community organizations through mentoring, cohorts and reusable learning.

In practice

She mentors a KonnectED cohort, and the material becomes microlearning the next team can reuse.

Step 5 of 5

Measure

We track what was reused, preserved, shared and put back into productive circulation, so partners and funders can see the result.

In practice

We record what was preserved, who used it, and what new capacity it created for each organization.

Huntsville launch path

Start small in Huntsville. Build a model others can use.

We are piloting with employers, educators, community organizations and experienced professionals in North Alabama first.

  1. PilotRun small, measurable Human Circularity projects in Huntsville.
  2. ProveDocument outcomes, reuse and knowledge transfer.
  3. TrainBuild KonnectED cohorts and facilitators.
  4. ScalePackage the model so other communities can adapt it.
From idea to pilot

Our first year.

Five phases take Konnect America from a framework to working projects with measurable results.

Formalize the Human Circularity framework and ethical AI principles.

Hold local discovery sessions to find overlooked skills, knowledge and assets.

Run two to three small Human Circularity projects in Huntsville.

Launch the first KonnectED Human Circularity + AI cohort.

Track knowledge preserved, assets reused, people connected and capacity created.

What we measure

Results you can see, not just activity.

Knowledge preservedLessons, checklists and training captured before they are lost.
Assets reusedSpace, equipment and facilities put back to productive use.
People connectedMentors, learners and organizations matched with each other.
Capacity createdNew skills and services organizations could not build alone.
